1. Eligibility and Registration

a. Participants must be registered members of the GameShard Discord server

b. Participants must have a Clash Royale account linked to their Discord profile

2. Tournament Format

a. The tournament will follow a single elimination format, where participants compete in head-to-head matches until only one winner remains.

b. Matches will be played in a best-of-three game series, and the player who wins two out of the three games advances to the next round.

c. The tournament will consist of multiple rounds, including the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finals.

3. Seeding and Pairings

a. Participants will be randomly seeded at the start of the tournament to determine their initial opponents.

b. Pairings for each round will be announced in the GameShard Discord server, specifying the opponents for each participant and will be visible on the bracket page.

c. Participants must contact their opponents directly through Discord. A channel will be created there for match communications.

d. Matches should be played as soon as both players are ready, within 10 minutes from their generation.

4. Game Settings

a. Matches will be played on the Clash Royale platform using the participants' linked Clash Royale accounts.

b. Participants must adhere to the in-game Fair Play policy and refrain from any form of cheating, hacking, or exploiting bugs.

c. Players will receive an in-game notification to play the match and must play it through the auto-generated match.

5. Reporting Results

a. GameShard will automatically close matches within 3 minutes from the end of the match.

b. In case of any disputes or discrepancies, participants may be required to provide additional information or evidence to the tournament administrators for review and resolution.

6. Sportsmanship and Conduct

a. Participants are expected to display good sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

b. Harassment, offensive language, or disrespectful behavior towards opponents or tournament staff will not be tolerated.

c. Any violation of the Clash Royale Fair Play policy may result in immediate disqualification from the tournament.

7. Tournament Administration

a. Tournament administrators will oversee the tournament proceedings, including the scheduling of matches, resolving disputes, and ensuring fair play.

b. Participants should reach out to tournament administrators through a designated channel on the GameShard Discord server in case of any issues, questions, or disputes.

c. The decisions made by the tournament administrators are final and binding.

8. Prizes and Rewards

a. The winner of the tournament will receive 50 SHARD, the on-platform currency. SHARD could be used to payout or buy items directly on the platform. Reach our staff for additional information.

b. The distribution of prizes will be communicated to the winners after the tournament concludes.
